The HUMO™ Philosophy - A better way of thinking

This is intended to describe the purpose of the HUMO™ Community. It is not intended to be legally-binding on any party.

We want to make the HUMO™ available as widely as possible through a community of customers and partners that will co-create and innovate, to develop a new form of sustainable and practical transport.

Therefore the new technology allied to the HUMO™ project is available free-of-charge to any individuals or groups (Developers and Makers) to develop and make for their own community or others. However, responsibility remains with the Developers to ensure that any vehicles, transport-systems or other devices which they develop and make are:

safe for the user(s)

harmless to all other members of the community

made in accordance with relevant laws

made in humane conditions using responsibly-sourced materials

The HUMO™ Community will not be responsible for any damages caused in any way by any product or arrangements made by Developers.

HUMO™ and HUMOWAY™ Trademarks

The intention is that these shall be freely available to anyone who makes a vehicle or device using the HUMO™ and HUMOWAY™ technology. If a Developer wishes to establish a brand, we suggest that the HUMO™ logo be used with the Developer's brand -

e.g. HUMO™ by John Smith Inc.

The HUMO™ Community

We request that any further developments to the HUMO™ and HUMOWAY™ technology be forwarded to the HUMO™ Community for discussion and publication (to enable quick dissemination of the benefits of the invention).

Our Message to the World

Finally, we also request that the following is placed on the dashboard of each HUMO™ vehicle in both English and the local language -

"THE HUMO™ HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO HELP ALL HUMAN BEINGS. PLEASE USE IT IN THIS SPIRIT"
